Salvador Dalí fue un artista Catalan de España que nació en 1904. Más famoso por su arte surrealista, que mezcla la realidad y la imaginación, Dalí ayudó a esparcir la nueva forma de arte en todo el mundo. Salvador Dalí was a Catalan-Spanish artist who was born in 1904. Most known for his surrealist art, which blends reality and imagination, Dalí helped spread the newly created artform around the world. From a young age, Dalí was fascinated with art and won many art competitions. He eventually attended the San Fernando Royal Academy of Fine Arts in Madrid, where he worked on a film with the famous filmmaker Luis Buñuel.
Even though many of his paintings represented imaginary figures in his unconscious mind, Dalí was able to implement 3D designs in his artwork. Dalí’s painting, Galatea of the Spheres, depicts his wife Gala in a grid of many spheres, giving depth to the painting. Dalí also took inspiration from scientific ideas. In The Persistence of Memory, Dalí uses Albert Einstein’s theory of relativity to blend time with nature.
