Hi! Ich bin Lasse Peters
Ich komme aus Deutschland und mache mein Austauschjahr an der Oakwood Schule.Ich gehe in die 10 Klasse in Oakwood.
Ich bin gerade 15 Jahre alt.Ich habe 2 Brüder in Deutschland einen jüngeren und einen älteren.
Mein großer Bruder war auch der Hauptgrund warum ich mein Auslandsjahr mache den er hat auch ein Auslandsjahr gemacht allerdings in Australien und es hat im sehr gut gefallen und er meinte zu mir das ich definitiv auch ein Auslandsjahr machen sollte.
Ich habe schon die paar Wochen wo ich in den USA war sehr viele coole Erfahrungen gesammelt und ich hoffe das ich das noch mehr sammeln kann. Ich bin einfach offen und freue mich die amerikanische Kultur kennenzulernen.
Meine Hobbys in Deutschland sind Fussball und ins Fitnessstudio zu gehen.Hier an der Oakwood Schule spiele ich auch Fussball der Coach ist sehr nett und auch das gesamte Team.Fussball an der Oakwood Schule macht sehr viel Spass.Aber es ist auch sehr anstrengend denn wir haben viel mehr spiele und trainieren viel mehr als ich es von Deutschland gewohnt bin. In Deutschland hatten wir nur 2 mal die Woche Training und hier an der Oakwood Schule haben wir jeden Tag Sport.
Im Winter werde ich wahrscheinlich Basketball spielen und dann im Frühling wahrscheinlich Baseball.
In North Carolina ist es auch viel wärmer als in Deutschland denn ich komme aus Norddeutschland und da brauch man um diese Jahreszeit eine kleine Jacke.
An der Oakwood Schule habe ich auch Spanisch was erstmal neu für mich war weil wir in Deutschland als dritt Sprache Französisch lernen.Aber Spanisch macht sehr viel Spaß und ich versuche in dem einem Jahr so viel zu lernen wie möglich.
Ich freue mich einfach in den USA zu sein und diese coole Möglichkeit zu haben und mich auch persönlich weiter zu entwickeln und selbständiger zu werden denn ein Jahr in einem anderem Land über dem Ozean zugehen macht man nicht alle Tage.
Ich hoffe ihr konntet ein bisschen über mich lernen in diesem Artikel und vielen Dank an das Zeitungs Team dass immer alle Sachen zusammensammelt und dann veröffentlicht.

I’m from Germany and am doing my exchange year at Oakwood School. I’m in 10th grade at Oakwood.
I am just 15 years old. I have two brothers in Germany, one younger and one older.
My older brother was also the main reason why I did my year abroad. He also did a year abroad, but in Australia, and he really enjoyed it. He told me that I should definitely do a year abroad too.
I’ve already had a lot of cool experiences in the few weeks I’ve been in the US, and I hope to have even more. I’m simply open-minded and looking forward to getting to know American culture.
My hobbies in Germany are soccer and going to the gym. Here at Oakwood School, I also play soccer. The coach is very nice, as is the entire team. Soccer at Oakwood School is a lot of fun. But it’s also very demanding because we have a lot more games and train a lot more than I’m used to in Germany. In Germany, we only had training twice a week, whereas here at Oakwood School, we have sports every day.
In the winter I will probably play basketball and then in the spring probably baseball.
It’s also much warmer in North Carolina than in Germany because I come from northern Germany and you need a small jacket there at this time of year.
At Oakwood School, I also studied Spanish, which was new to me at first because in Germany we learn French as a third language. But Spanish is a lot of fun, and I’m trying to learn as much as possible in one year.
I’m just happy to be in the USA and to have this cool opportunity to develop myself personally and become more independent because spending a year in another country across the ocean isn’t something you get to do every day.
